Aventurile celor trei prieteni continua, dar din iulie 2009. Sid, Manny si Diego revin pe marile ecrane, alaturi de simpaticul si vesnic lovitul de soarta Scrat, veverita cu tendinte suicidale pentru o ghinda. Ce surprize ne rezerva scenaristii constituie un compartiment impredictibil, fiind chiar mai multe variante în lucru, un singur detaliu fiind clar: vor fi cu siguranta dinozauri. Cum si de unde vor aparea nu se mai stie, dar prezenta lor reprezinta o certitudine. De asemenea, trasnaile eroilor vor fi dublate cu siguranta de un spatiu mai larg de desfasurare a aventurilor veveritei Scrat, care înca de la primul film al francizei a devenit preferata publicului si, într-o masura oarecare, si mascota neoficiala a seriei. Cu siguranta ca asteptarea fanilor va fi rasplatita, ca si în cazul filmului precedent al seriei.
